Agua ‘e Panty
Agua ’e Panty: Yudelkis is a gold digger from Santo Domingo. When Yudelkis loses her sugar daddy, she wants to get him back by any means. Yudelkis decides to visit a Santera who sales her a magic spell, without knowing that 'easy solutions' come with their own complications.
Astrid Pérez: Director
Astrid Pérez was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. From a young age she studied music, playing instruments such as Piano and Viola, which sparked her interest in art. Astrid studied Advertising at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) where she discovered her passion for Scenography. After moving to the U.S., she switched careers and graduated from Brooklyn College with a Major in Film Production. She currently also pursues a fashion career as a Model for RED Model Management.
She enjoys to incorporate aspects of her culture into her films with a good sense of humor. Her Thesis Short Film "Agua 'e Panty" won the awards for Best Director, the Audience Favorite and the National Board of Review Scholarship at the Brooklyn College Film Festival.
