Big Money Agenda: Democracy on the Brink: takes a deep dive into money in politics, exploring how money controls our politics and what action we can take to reform the system. The film includes interviews with major experts on the subject: former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Lawrence Lessig from Harvard, Jacob Hacker from Yale, and Sheila Kromholz, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics. These are just a few of the many experts interviewed. The documentary is greatly enhanced with animation and graphics by Maciek Albrect, the Emmy award winning animator from Easton.
Vincent Mondillo: Director
Vincent Mondillo has been making film and videos in the Lehigh Valley since graduating from film school at Temple University. Over the years he has created a range of work, including: an indie feature television programs, documentaries, museum videos, dramas, music videos and commercials. He's been producer and editor on productions, with Lou Reda Productions, that have aired on the History Channel, A & E and the Biography Channel.
Big Money Agenda is Mondillo's third collaboration with executive producer, Richard Master. Their previous productions were Fixt-It: Healthecare at the Tipping Point and Big Pharma: Market Failure. The films have been used in grass roots organizing across the country.
