L. Marcus Williams: Director
L. Marcus Williams was born on Long Island, New York. He graduated with a BA in Film Production at Brooklyn College. His thesis film, "Lifeline," is based on his own experience as both a crisis hotline operator and a survivor of attempted suicide. It was voted by the faculty as the top thesis film of the school year, and Williams won Best Director and Best Editor Awards at the Brooklyn College Film Festival. Additionally, the film earned Williams a Student Grant from the National Board of Review.
Williams is currently developing a silent film adaptation of Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" and a feature-length film about an abusive family who discover that one of their own is a serial killer. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
