FILM LAB
DESCRIPTION:
With the aim to provide aspiring filmmakers a better understanding of the film language as well as the filmmaking process, the Movies At The Mill Easton (MME) film festival presents Film Lab. Film Lab is an intense workshop where aspiring filmmakers are given the support necessary to enhance the quality of their films.
MME receives several submissions each year; and while the submitting filmmakers are all different, they each share a common goal of realizing their film's full potential. Many of the submissions do achieve this yet, there are others that can truly benefit from being "workshopped". Through the MME submission process, one film is identified and invited to Film Lab each year. Working with industry professionals, the selected filmmaker is able to enhance his or her film in areas such as the film's editing, sound design, music, color grading, mixing and even additional photography if necessary.

MAYO GIRL is about Sophie. She’s smart. She’s successful. She’s attractive.
So why is she such a flop in the romance department?
Because she’s also mastered the art of playing it safe. In fact, Sophie is as predictable as her lunchtime staple: plain chicken sandwich. "Hold the mayo". Every. Single. Time. Her best friend, Jill, isn’t shy about sharing her feelings on the issue, and she’s hatched a plan to help Sophie land a man.
